Sustainability reporting
Luotea's sustainability work is managed and developed through the sustainability program. Our goal is to communicate openly to our stakeholders about the work we do for more sustainable business operations, and we publish the sustainability results and highlights of the past period as part of our interim report.
Highlights from the past sustainability work
Luotea's first sustainability report based on CSRD was published
Luotea published its first sustainability report based on EU's corporate sustainability reporting directive CSRD in 2024.
Emissions from our own operations decreased by approximately 35% in 2024, compared to the previous year
Luotea aims to reduce its own operational emissions by 50% by 2030 compared to the 2018 level (SBTi). By 2024, our carbon footprint (scope 1 and 2) had already decreased by 56% compared to the baseline. New short-term emissions targets for 2030 will be set during 2026.
This progress has been achieved by continuing to upgrade our fleet towards zero-emission technologies and low-emission fuels.
